In two different points of the beach of Zumaia we measured several physico-chemical parameters such as the temperature, pH, O₂ concentration and NO₃ and NO₂ levels.

The results showed that the temperature range between 16 – 17 ºC in both parts of the beach. Moreover, the pH and O₂ levels were 7.2 – 7.6 and 5 – 8 mg/l, respectively. Finally, there were little or no nitrates and nitrites in the beach of Zumaia.

All in all, it could be say that the beach of Zumaia showed a relatively healthy state.

So, after that, although the weather was not so warm and the water temperature was a littler bit low (16-17ºC), we decided to take a bath in the sea. It was amazing!
