JAM WITH THE FRUITS OF THE FOREST

One week before going to Poland we prepared our jams. Three different type of jams were done: strawberry jam, kiwi jam and apple and nuts jam. These jams were done in three days:

First day:

Fruits were cut in small pieces and placed in pans. We put different layers of fruit and sugar. They were kept overnight.

Second day:

The pans with the fruits and sugar were heat to the boiling point and after that, they were kept over twenty minutes at that temperature removing very carefully. We left the mixture resting overnight.

Third day:

Using a food mill we get an homogeneus mixture. Once we get the appropiate texture we placed the jam in cristal recipients. To conservate the jams for a longer time we put the recipients in boiling water for thirty minutes. After we tested them we can really say that the jams were delicious.
