At least one sunny day in the basque Country! This is a great day to plant our apple tree!

Along with other fruit trees in the school little garden has been planted our tree. One day more the forest ranger came to us to explain how to plant an apple tree. First of all, we digged a hole in the ground and after that, we placed the tree. Once we filled the hole with a shovel and stepped the soil around the tree, we took a family photo.

The forest ranger told us that the roots of the tree will need high amount of water to hold its new ground. So, now, we are very carefully taking care of our tree in order to keep it wet. Every sunny day we have to water our tree.

We hope that in five years we will have apples ready to eat! Cross your fingers!
