Kids in our school making soaps

Before christmas holidays children in our school have been working in their soaps. This day is the “Witches’ day”. This day is celebrated a couple of days before halloween. There are a lots of songs and wishes during the preparation of the “magic soap”.

The children began the day early in the morning collecting herbs in the forest. After the picking up they came back to school and they started cooking the soap in a very magical environment. To develope the soap, first they started cutting the herbs with scissors. Then they little pieces of herbs were mixed with olive oil and hated usin a pan. Once heated they added several pieces of natural bee wax and they kept it in the pan until they got and homogeneous mixture.

After being removing the mixture with a wooden spoon they left it overnight. The next day the magical soap was ready to be used among little witches and wizards.
